If you never done Landmark School road, you’ll love it, as this peaceful road is beautiful and filled with climbs and descents through rural roads.
After hitting Middleburg, we’ll go into Foxcroft road, another favorite road around this area. We’ll continue heading north on Snickersville turnpike, very well known for it’s short and steep climbs, perfect for short high intensity interval efforts, all the way up …

This Friday was time for another training ride.
A ride from Harmarket Bycicles parking lot, for a fast route on route 55 to The plains then heading northwest, with the famous loop around Frog Town – Rectortown – Atoke – 50 – Zulla.

Hello everyone,
After spending last Sunday doing the hardest 50 miles on Skyline, starting from the gate, all the way up to Big Meadows, I started wondering how does this ride compare to all the other rides we’ve done over the last few years.
In doing so, I’ve created the all-new R3Q factor. What is the R3Q, you ask? It’s the Rodrigo Ride Rating factor !!!
The purpose of creating and using this factor is that it allows me to compare any two rides and evaluate how hard (or easy) the ride will …

Critical for any cyclist, or in general any endurance athlete is determining the training zones. The most common way of measuring and identifying training zones is by power output and heart rate.
Power output is very specific to cycling and requires a bicycle equipped with a power meter. Heart rate is simpler and more generic, as it applies to cyclist as well as any other type of endurance athlete, so it’s ideal for tri-athletes, as it can be used both on the bike as well as on the run (even in …

I’ve been watching and evaluating rollers for a very long time, but never pulled the trigger on any of them. I have a Kettler Ergoracer GT spinning bike
as well as the Computrainer for my bike.
Both provide great entertainment and fitness for indoor riding, but… I don’t use them much. In spite of the fact that both allow me to do virtual racing, I still get bored and never find enough motivation to use them at home.
Rollers are said to be more road-like, and provide …
