Just this week Brim Brothers came out with an announcement on their forthcoming power meter product… that installs on your shoes !! The ZONE.
This new power meter device installs a sensor on your cleat, connected to a pod on the top of your shoe.

The biggest advantage is that to use this power meter, you just put on your shoes and jump on your bike… whatever bike you want to use !!

The sensors are on the cleat, while all the electronics are housed inside the pod on top of the shoe.
The system is fully weatherproof and uses ANT+ to send the power information to your cycling computer, like a Garmin, Joule, or any other ANT+ compatible head unit.
The product is set to launch sometime in 2012, and … I want one !!!!!!!!
